I have changed some of the colours on this FAQ site to match
the mobile phone insurance site, and I have changed the images.

insurance you can quickly and easily find this and get your
question answered.

“WHAT DO I DO?”

Go to www.play-java-games.com/admin and use your
normal 2U login details

1. Once you are logged in you choose what colours you want
for the different sections of your Java Games site.

2. Then you can change the images on your Java Games site.
You can also use your own ALT tags that show over the image.

3. You can add your own links directory to link to other
sites, to help with your Search Engine Optimisation.

4. You choose whether you want to include 1, or 2 scroll
boxes (or none) showing the Java Games products.

5. You can also change the SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
settings for your site, so search engines can see you as
different from other sites.

The 3rd Quick Customiser website will be released tomorrow.

1. NEW Ringtones shortcodes

The new ringtones shortcodes and premium rate number are now released.

Please change all your marketing over to these new numbers as soon as possible.

* SMS orders: Shortcode 80808
* IVR (premium rate) orders: 0906 661 0041

The 2U ringtones sites have ALREADY been changed to use these numbers …

The old numbers will continue to be used for a cross-over period until the end of February, and then phased out. The stats for the old numbers will then not show on your site and no commission will be paid on the old numbers after this phase-out.

If you have any other marketing for ringtones, you need to now change them to use these new numbers.

Do you have leaflets printed for ringtones? Do you have your own ringtones website (other than the 2U-provided sites)?

You need to change to these new numbers now.

2. Why this is GREAT NEWS for YOU …

This is great news for you because …

1. The stats in your login area at http://users.2u.co.uk
   are DETAILED. For example I just did a test SMS order
   (ordering by text message). In my login I can now see
   the following …”SMS Polyphonic Ringtone: Kaiser Chiefs Everyday I Love
   You Less And Less”

So this new system tells you …

- How they ordered (SMS or IVR)
- What type of product (Polyphonic, Java games etc)
- Name of the product - artist and title

2. The stats are fully real time. There will always be some
   delay because it will always depend on the networks passing
   information through to us, but as soon as we have it, it
   shows in your stats.
3. Transparency of stats. This one needs some explaining
   because you need to understand how the ringtones ordering
   process works …IVR: This is more straight forward - the customer picks up
   the phone, dials 0906 661 0041, gets charged £1.50 per minute
   and follows the order instructions on the phone to complete
   the order.

   When the order is completed, the order comes through with
   a status of “Completed”, because the customer has paid.
   This goes straight into your stats as “Completed”.

   SMS: The customer sends a text message (SMS) to 80808.
   The message of the SMS tells our system what the customer
   wants and who the affiliate is (by the first 4 numbers in
   the message).

   The customer then gets 3 messages back to their phone, each
   billing them £1.50 (this is how they pay for the product).
   We then get confirmation for each of these 3 x £1.50 text
   messages that they have been paid for.

   As such this is a 2 stage process …

   1. Customer texts their order to us, then
   2. Payment confirmation: We get 3 confirmations at £1.50
      This is reflected in your new stats system. You have
      greater transparency in seeing this happen.

   If there is a delay (usually due to the network’s system)
   between the first part and the second part, you will see
   a new order appear in your stats marked as “Pending”
   (similar to the phones orders when they come in).

   Then, as and when the payment confirmations come in (step 2)
   you see the order change from “Pending” to “Completed”.
   Once it is completed it means the customer has paid for it,
   and therefore you get your commission!

These are just 3 reasons why this change is GREAT NEWS for YOU.
There are other reasons to do with the transfer of data, but
they are quite technical. These are the 3 key reasons why
this will help you get a better understanding of your 2U
Ringtones Reseller business - so you can build and grow your
Ringtones business!
