You probably already know that the most anticipated thing in the mobile phone industry is coming soon - the much awaited iPhone launches on the 9th November here in the UK.
 
And I have a personal secret for you …
 
For someone who works in the mobile phone industry, I don’t normally get that excited about a new mobile phone - with most phones I just think “Sure, its handy, but its just a phone”.  However, the iPhone is different.
 
I AM excited about the iPhone.  We purchased one early so we could check it out and see what all the fuss is about.  
 
And I can honestly say - now I KNOW what all the fuss is about.
 
It is THE most amazing phone - and I don’t say that lightly!
 
It is a mobile phone, an iPod MP3-player and an internet-access device all rolled into one device with state-of-the-art easy-to-use navigation.  And the good part - I am NOT over-hyping this.
 
It is without a doubt a major turning point in the growth and development of mobile phones and telecoms in general - as well as the overall connectedness of people.
 
The only real downside is that you need to see it to fully appreciate it.
 
For this reason we are recommending that …
 
1. You watch the free videos available on your site, and
 
2. Preorder your own iPhone so you have it, to fully experience it. 
 
You will then be in a better position to sell and earn from the next major wave in telecoms.
 
iPhone Preorder:
Right now on your site, you and your customers can pre-order the iPhone.  This means you can place your order in advance of the rush and be the first in the queue to get it on November 9th.

iPhone Insurance:
As you can probably imagine, because it is the best phone/iPod/internet-access device on the market, the iPhone is not cheap.  It will retail at £269 on O2 contract.
 
Pretty much all owners are going to be proud and protective of their new iPhone.
 
This means there is going to be a big demand for iPhone Insurance - to protect their new expensive device.
 
For this reason, on your site right now, we have specifically created an iPhone Insurance policy - to offer all those hoards of new iPhone owners everything they need - full, sensible protection at a cost-effective rate.

From our research, there is very little competition for iPhone Insurance out there - you could be *miles* ahead.  Have a look on www.google.co.uk and search for “iPhone insurance” - you will see there is little else available.
 
This means the market is wide open for you.
 
Now here is what we suggest you do …
 
* Build your own separate website for iPhone Insurance
 
If you already have your own insurance website, then add iPhone Insurance pages to it.  You will then have a far greater chance of climbing up the search engines for an “iPhone insurance” search - while there is little competition.

There are now new non-branded order form pages which you can use in your site.  So when your customer goes from your own iPhone insurance website, with its look and feel, they are then not confused by seeing the 2u brand - they see the plain non-branded order form.

If you use Pay Per Click (PPC) in any of your online marketing then you should have a closer look at this …

There has been a flurry of highly priced new release software that spys on other marketers PPC campaigns so you get the inside scoop on what is working for them - so you can copy.  It’s kind of sneaky but it clearly works.  There are 2 key drawbacks with most of these PPC spy software packages.  1 is that you have to host the software, which can be difficult and also heavy on your server.

The other reason is better outlined here

I do not personally do PPC advertising for the simple reason that we leave that to you, the 2u affiliates - we do not want to compete with our own affiliates.  But if I did do PPC marketing, then I would certainly be looking closely at this new software to help me bring down the cost of my adverts, AND to locate more effective ads.
