The number of emails I have been getting asking “Where is INSTANT AutoPilot”, and “When will INSTANT AutoPilot be released” is crazy!

So I thought I should put a note up here to tell you …

Because of all the server issues, we had to take some of the Developers from the INSTANT AutoPilot project to take care of improving the servers etc, which obviously means they are then not workingon the final touches to the INSTANT AutpPilot!

So they should be ready in a few weeks or so now. I will email you when it IS ready.

I’ve got 3 things for you today …

I haven’t emailed for a while because I have had my head down
for some time, between loads of exciting things here at 2u (as
well as a new programmer), and my growing baby boy Toby (now
11 weeks old, and smiling like an angel).

There are 3 things I want to update you on that you should
know. I have some very handy time-saving FR’EE software
tools for you but first …

We have some great new projects which I have been overseeing,
including the INSTANT AutoPilot. I put a message about this
on the 2U Forum yesterday …

“The path of true development never runs smooth …

At least the planned timescales rarely actually happen exactly
as planned.

The INSTANT AutoPilot [is] still in development and being
tested. [Although I am not a programmer] if I am honest the
delay is partly my fault, because I keep coming up with ideas
to improve it and make it better and better …

“Put tracking code for PPC in the Thank You page”,
“Give full and detailed sales stats”,
“Make it easy for the customer to re-order without re-typing
their details” …

etc, so it logically is taking longer than the planned (and
smaller, simpler version of) INSTANT AutoPilot.”

So that is the update on INSTANT AutoPilot - it is coming soon,
but not ready yet because there are still a few cool and
profitable things going into it, that will help YOU more.

The second thing I wanted to update you on is about the search
engines. You may have noticed that 2u.co.uk is less prominent
than it was a month ago (and for many years previous).

There are a number of reasons for this, which we are working on
at present, because it is vital to us that we get those positions
back.

One of the PRIME reasons for this happening is some potentially
malicious behaviour by an outside company, which is currently
being investigated.

Thankfully, we have backup plans and multiple streams of income,
so it is not devastating. But rest assured - we are working
incredibly hard to build tools and processes to get the 2u site
back up the search engine positions, and to help YOU get up there
with your 2U site. The tactics laid out in the Affiliate
Training Centre at http://www.2uaffiliates.com/training-centre are still the best way
to get your site ranking well.

The third thing I want you to know is that I have just added a
LONG list of helpful and handy software tools that I use, either
regularly or have used in the passed, that you would probably
benefit from.

There are some major changes going on right now for the 2U Phones Datafeed and the way this can be used.

The URL that you would use to get the datafeed files has changed, to include 2 things …

1. Your 2U account name (subdomain), and
2. Your 2U Datafeed Key.

You will find your 2U Datafeed Key in your affiliate login area at http://users.2u.co.uk

To learn the exact structure of the Phones Datafeed URL you need to login at http://users.2u.co.uk and subscribe to the 2U Phones Datafeed Updates (in the second blue box once you have logged in).

You will then instantly get emailed the correct URL’s for the phones datafeed.
