Data Feed
A data feed is a file (usually a CSV or SQL file) in a specific location containing the information from a database for certain products (eg ringtones, phones) that gets updated regularly, usually daily. Users can then download the file, usually using an automatic script, every day, and load the information from that file into their own database. This means that the user then has an updated database of their own that they can use to feed into their own website
As an example, the 2U Ringtones Data Feed is made available (at no extra charge) to 2U Ringtones Resellers. As a 2U Ringtone Reseller you would be able to download the file into your own database on your own server, and totally customise your own site to your own look and feel. Basicallly, a data feed gives you much more control over the design of your site and the navigation of your site.
