Leafleting
First make sure you have read the Offline Marketing Introduction.

Leaflet promotions can be an effective method of producing sales, so long as the process is SMOOTH. The graphics must be high quality and the incentive to buy must be strong, PLUS you need to ideally make sure you can take orders via your 2U site AND by your telephone AND by postal order to you.

See the Offline Marketing Introduction for further details on these order methods.

Leaflet Dropping
Make sure you only drop leaflets in legitimate places. We cannot allow any littering complaints or illegal leafleting. Although is can be effective to leaflet drop in car parks is it best to check with the relevant authorities that it is acceptable.

Make your marketing relevant
If you are promotion leaflets onto cars, make the offer relevant to the reader and potential customer being WITH THEIR CAR. The obvious product for this is the Bluetooth headset products so the driver can use their phone safely and legally - click here for product details. For this, you would need to emphasise the new mobile phone law and how this products lets them drive safely and legally WHILE IN THEIR CAR

If you were leafleting in the High Street promoting the 2U Mobile Phone Insurance, you might want to emphasise the increase in street crimes invloving mobile phones - tell them that 28% of street crime involves a mobile phone! Use www.mobile-phone-insurance-uk.com for mobile phone theft and crime statistics.

Bluetooth Leaflet Example
In this demo, you need to get the Call Navigator telephone number to put on the leaflet.
For a demo (low resolution) leaflet for the Bluetooth products click here
For a higher resolution version of the same leaflet download the Photoshop document file here (you will need to own Photoshop to manipulate this graphic).

Leaflet Inserts
Newspaper inserts can be an efective method to reach an instant and large audience with your leaflets. Contact your local newspaper and ask them about inserting your leaflet in their publication.

Be VERY aware of the costs involved, and how many sales you need to make in order to break even and make a profit.

Start with low-circulation publications and work up to larger ones, which will be more expensive but potentially bring more sales and profit.

Make sure you take orders in as many different options for the customer as possible. See the Offline Marketing Introduction for details.
